Robert Harper of Robertharperstudio.com is a native of Montana and spent a large part of his life in rural Wyoming. In his teen years Bob was inspired by the legendary Conrad Swchering. Early in his career, Bob displayed his works at numerous one-man exhibitions in Montana, Wyoming and Colorado.  He was a much sought-after

instructor for oil painting workshops in the western United States.  However, as people discovered his amazing talent, he now provides custom oil paintings for collectors all around the country. 

Bob has recieved many Best of shows and People's Choice awards. Accolades for his works include numerous newspaper articles as well as articles in Southwest Art. Bob spent thirteen summers in Jackson Hole, Wyoming as the artist in residence for well known galleries there. After spending so much time in Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park painting plein air he knows the area intimately.

Recently, one of Robert's works from Amy Grant's and Vince Gill's personal collection was featured as the entire backdrop for the set of Amy Grant's concert and full length DVD. This same video also took home a Grammy award in April of 2007 in the Dove award catagory.

Bob has provided many companies custom, corporate art pieces and his current pursuit is large paintings for discriminating collector's homes. He has provided many custom large paintings for collectors thoughout the country and abroad.
